Pastor Rossetter Leavitt

The Reverend Rossetter Leavitt was born in San Benito, Texas. He received a degree in education from Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska and later a Master’s of Divinity from Concordia Lutheran Seminary.

Pastor Leavitt formerly served as Director of Christian Education at Zion Lutheran in Orlando, FL, completed his Vicarage at St. Paul Lutheran in Sioux City, Iowa in 1980 and was Pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran in Mineral Wells, TX for seven (7) years. Prior to joining Beautiful Savior in January, 2002, he was Pastor of St. Paul Lutheran in Vernon, TX for fourteen (14) years.

Pastor Leavitt and his wife, the former Lynn Karmer (a school teacher) of Quincy, IL, have five (5) children—all boys—ranging in age from fourteen to twenty-seven years.

Pastor Emeritus Rev. Wayman L. Still

The Reverend Wayman Still was born in Orlando, Florida. After serving two (2) years in the U.S. Navy, he received his B.A. degree from Florida State University in Jacksonville, Florida and his Master’s of Divinity from Concordia Lutheran Seminary, Springfield, Illinois.

He served his vicarage at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, Kansas and has served in parishes at Marathon, Florida; Macon, Georgia; Manassas, Virginia; and began serving as Pastor of Beautiful Savior Lutheran in January, 1990.

Early in 2002 Pastor Still lost his vision - first in one eye and then the other. Despite this sudden and unexpected disability, he continued to fulfill his pastoral duties until his health issues forced him to retire in February, 2007.  Pastor Still continues to serve the congregation of Beautiful Savior whenever possible and assists with many special services, such as funerals and weddings.

Pastor Still and his wife, the former Juanita King, have two married children, a daughter Karen, and a son Michael.  Both reside in the Sarasota-Bradenton area.

Director of Music - Bonnie Wolfgram

Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performances and Music Therapy from Alverno College, Milwaukee and a Masters in Piano Performance from Syracuse University.  She has taught in the preparatory departments of Alverno College and Albany Jr. College as well as privately in several states.  Bonnie is active in the community, she serves as accompanist for local soloists and ensembles, directs the El Rancho Singers and leads the Beautiful Savior Lutheran congregation as Director of Music.

Bell Choir Director - Kyle Wallace Miller

Kyle Miller Wallace joined Beautiful Savior in 2005 and immediately paved the way for Beautiful Savior to begin a Bell Choir. Kyle directs three groups, the Jubilation Ringers, the Chime Choir and Amazing Grace Ringers.

Office Manager - Pam Rooney

Pam became a member of Beautiful Savior in 2009.  She moved to Florida from Glenview, Illinois in 1993.  She is married and has one grown child, Tim, who lives in Clarksville, Tennessee.  She had previously worked in an administrative position for a boat manufacturer for 11 years.  She is also a volunteer for the Beautiful Savior Altar Guild.  Other members of her family who are part of the Beautiful Savior family are her mother, Janet Schildberg, and her sister and brother-in-law Linda and Chris Daley and their children.

Director of Christian Education - Tara Alford

Tara Alford was born and raised in Spring, Texas.  Tara graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska.  She did a one-year internship at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo, Florida to complete her Director of Christian Education certification.  She was then Called to that same congregation as a full time DCE for the next year. She was then Called to Beautiful Savior to serve primarily the youth, families and children.

Vicar - Todd Kuehn

Vicar Todd and his wife Jessi have been members of Beautiful Savior for several years serving the Church in teaching Bible classes, Vacation Bible School leader, music, and facilitating church services and special events with audio and visual expertise.  Vicar Todd is currently in the four-year Specific Ministry Pastor program taking on-line courses at the Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.  As well as serving as Vicar at Beautiful Savior he also teaches school in the Manatee County School District.
