A Message From Pastor Leavitt       

  GOD MADE US A FAMILY

 “For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom His whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.”  Ephesians 3:14-15

 In Christ, God is the Father of all believers.  Therefore believers of all time are united into one family.  That family includes glorified believers already in heaven as well as those still living on earth … including you and me.  That makes us here at Beautiful Savior part of that family … so we are Beautiful Savior family.  What a blessing to be part of a family that includes those on earth and also in heaven.  Here we have the unique joy of having family members from Florida, Wisconsin, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana,    Illinois, Minnesota, Maine, North Carolina, and Canada (did I miss one?)  We are all together in Christ, with Him being the head and keeping us together.

 I am very thankful to be part of this family.  It’s a blessing to worship the Lord with you, grow together in our faith, serve Him with your gifts and talents, and reach out with His love to our community.  I pray that our Heavenly Father will fill you with His love and Spirit to continue in the faith and work together in His kingdom.

 We are also thankful for our new members that have joined our Beautiful Savior family.  We welcome them and look forward to getting to know them better and serving the Lord with one another.  Many of them are already finding ways to assist us in our ministry together which is a great help because we have lots to do.  Let me finish with the words of our Family Banner:

We need one another * We love one another *We forgive one another * We work together * We play together * Together we us God’s Word * Together we grow in Christ * Together we love all men * Together we serve our God * Together we hope for heaven * These are our hopes and ideals * Help us to attain them, O God * Through Jesus Christ Our Lord
